Reviews and Ratings
Our stay at the hotel was something special, making us feel like we were in a luxurious retreat. The hospitality from the staff was outstanding, and the food was a delightful experience. However, while the rooms were spacious and comfortable, there wasn't much outdoor space to enjoy the fresh Shimla air. The location was a bit further from the bustling heart of Shimla, which may not suit everyone’s preference for vibrant nightlife.
Staying at The Oberoi Cecil was an incredible experience. The blend of heritage and luxury was absolutely captivating, and the staff made us feel so special throughout our stay. The rooms were spacious and immaculate, offering stunning views. Dining was delightful, albeit a bit limited at times. The only downside was the distance to Mall Road, but the scenic walk made up for it. Overall, it was great value for money, especially considering the level of service.
I absolutely fell in love with this hotel, which beautifully captures the charm of the colonial era. The service throughout my stay was outstanding, and the food exceeded my expectations. The rooms were stunning, though the location required a bit of a hike into town. Overall, I found it to be an excellent experience, but it might not suit everyone’s taste due to the vintage decor.
Staying at Oberoi Cecil in Shimla was an unforgettable experience. The hotel radiated a sense of royal luxury, and every corner felt like home. The service was exceptional, thanks largely to dedicated staff members who went out of their way to cater to all our needs. However, we encountered some challenges with local wildlife near our balcony, which was a bit of a disturbance. Overall, the amenities and the warmth of the staff made it a worthwhile getaway.
Our stay at the Oberoi Cecil in Shimla was beyond delightful. The luxurious rooms offered breathtaking views of the sun-kissed valley, and the attentive service made us feel right at home. The dining experience was exceptional with a range of delicious Indian dishes. While everything was fantastic, the location does require a bit of a walk to reach central Shimla, which can be a minor inconvenience. Overall, it was truly a memorable experience that combines luxury with breathtaking scenery.
